• Choose your name and find a domain for your website – tip: better to change a name than to use a poor quality domain and note that this is the hardest step of creating a website.
• Register your domain name with a domain registrar.
• Determine the function of your website:
  • simple information about the business, portfolio display, and contact info
  • ecommerce site
  • site that also includes, blogs and lots of other content
• Once you’ve determined what function you want your website to perform you can pick the appropriate web builder.
• Get a host for your website.
