Revenues and Profits Are Not the Same

Just because revenues increase does not mean profits increase. In fact, sometimes increased revenue can have a negative effect on profits. Revenues are top line, profits are bottom line after all expenses and are not close to the same thing. Employees may not see direct benefits from revenue and wonder where it goes. Read more here.
