IRS Suspends Refunds During Government Shutdown

Even though the Federal Government shut down has most IRS employees on furlough you are still expected to meet all of your filing and payment deadlines. The IRS says it will accept payments as they are received but it will not issue any refunds during this time. Read here for more information.
