Why Remarketing?

July 2, 2019 by OSYB Staff

So what is remarketing? QuickSprout shares, “It’s a way to expose your ads to people who have previously viewed your website in the past. Since these visitors are already familiar with your brand, it’s more likely that they’ll convert when they see your ad.”

Building organic traffic can take any where from 6 and even up to 18 months. One way to step-up the process, if you have the marketing funds is to run paid ads with Google AdWords.

If you want to increase your conversions, remarketing is a tool to harness.  How does remarketing work?  Quite simply, those who visit your website will be tracked and your ad will appear when they browse other sites.

What are the pros of spending marketing dollars on remarketing ads:

  • Targeting qualified leads, people who have shown interest in your business by visiting your website or have taken some type of action that was close to a conversion.
  • Familiarity and some interest in your business, makes these leads produce a higher conversion rate than reaching out to people cold turkey.
  • Ability to track your conversions and evaluate which ads, actions, and custom audience lists produce the best results and highest ROI.  The analysis allows you to capitalize on what works and change campaigns that aren’t performing as well.
