Validate Your Employee’s at Year-End!

End the year with a thoughtful show of appreciation for your hard-working employees that also adds a burst of positive energy to start the new year with gusto.  Intuit QuickBooks shares some insight on how to do it right and some ideas of what sort of giving you should consider.

What to consider when gifting with appreciation:

• think of a gift that your employees could use or want
• share a message that rings true to you and your company culture
• believe what you say as you share it
• be honest, don’t be afraid to share the losses as well as celebrating the wins

Some gifts to consider:

• offer to support an employee’s favorite charity
• gift cards
• cash bonus
• paid time off
• food items

Whatever you chose to do, the most important thing to keep in mind is to be sincere in your show of appreciation.  When you are mindful in your gratitude, you will end up choosing the right gift that reveals your tribute to their contributions.
