  • Emphasize the benefits of working for a small business like a closer-knit team and stronger relationships.
  • Include and incorporate free-lancers to join your team.
  • Share the value and meaning of what your employees can achieve when working as a part of your team.
  • Create a work-home life balance culture.  Be schedule flexible.
  • Evaluate your recruiting strategy.  Make it easy for good people to find you and want to join your team for example use your website to connect with potential new hires.

You may not be able to provide the best compensation package but find what you can offer that sets you apart from the rest and use that edge to attract your best team players.
