2020 Thoughts to Ponder

January 2, 2020 by OSYB Staff

David Finkel, a business coach shares on Inc. some sustainable new year’s resolutions to consider:

  • set realistic and sustainable work hour limits
  • follow the 1/50 time management plan which means that once a week you will select a day or hours in a day that you will set aside to work on tasks where 1 percent of time spent produces 50 percent of results. Don’t schedule meetings, turn off your phone and concentrate on A-level tasks and projects that really matter.
  • Find a mentor or hire a business coach to help you avoid pitfalls, provide you with constructive criticism, and provide you with some clarity as you work hard in areas you may have little experience in.
  • Keep gratitude in the forefront of your mind and your actions. Be grateful for the journey that you are on, the people that helped you get to where you are, and for the ability to do something that you really enjoy.

Meet 2020 with enthusiasm, gratitude and fortitude!
