Tipped Workers Are Nearly Twice as Likely to Be Poor

According to this study, tipped workers are nearly twice as likely to live in poverty as their comparable hourly workforce. Tipped workers poverty rate is nearly 13% according to this study, compared to other workers poverty rate of 6.5%. It states that the median wage for tipped workers is $10.22. Read more here
