Changes to Form 8621 Filing Requirements

The IRS announced forthcoming revisions of Form 8621. Notice 2011-55 suspended the IRC Section 1298(f) filing requirements until the revised 8621 form was issued. However, taxpayers were instructed to attach the 8621 for any suspended years to their next tax return. For information read more here.
