5 indicted for allegedly stealing $10 million in fake tax refunds

Tax fraud and identity theft are a top priority for IRS criminal investigations teams. Recently five men were convicted of a very large identity theft and tax refund fraud ring. The five men collected about $10 million in stolen refunds, of the $21 million that were submitted. Read more here.
