My business, The Internet Antique Shop, is an online antique mall. We currently have about 400 merchants and list about 650,000 pieces.
For many years, we had an in-house person doing our bookkeeping. But we wanted more. That's when we turned to Outsource Your Books.
Primarily it was the cost issue of having somebody full-time on our system versus taking it to Outsource Your Books. They are incredibly efficient and we deal with them in person, on occasion, but primarily via the web and telephone.
They have access to our files online so they can download whatever they need from us. If they have any questions, they contact us directly. Working with OSYB has been very, very efficient and I can't say enough about them. They have really worked with us and, in many cases, OSYB has gone above and beyond to help us get everything done on time and on budget.
OSYB is very efficient in getting us the monthly profit and loss statements we need. They assist us with our taxes and work very well with our tax accountant. All in all, it has been a great experience for us.
The cost efficiencies of working with OSYB have been fantastic. In fact, as we become more efficient and use up less of their time, they come back to us and actually lower their fees. This is something that people don't see in today's world.
I would highly recommend OSYB to other companies. The relationship I have with them is great. I can contact them when I need a check cut, and they respond very quickly. There have been numerous occasions where Ed Becker has been out of town, but he still gets back to me within minutes of me e-mailing him. He is incredibly, incredibly on the ball and goes above and beyond what I would expect from normal accounting firms to do.
We have a good relationship with them over the years and we hope to keep on expanding on this as our company grows.
