We all know that QuickBooks is a big part of life for many small business owners, as well as their accountants and bookkeepers. I’m sometimes surprised to find that such heavy users for QuickBooks don’t know more tricks for speeding up their work inside the program. There are still many shortcuts you can utilize to save you time when entering data and with daily usage, seconds saved can add up to minutes and even hours over the course of a week or month.
Some experienced users may already be using these tricks. Others can pick up a few great ideas to make there day-to-day posting much easier. Below is a list of several easy shortcuts that I recommend to clients of my bookkeeping service, OSYB, LLC.
