1. Be very accurate in identifying  your workers as either 1099 workers or W-2 employees.

3. Ensure that you are following all Anti-Discrimination Laws.
4. Always maintain workplace safety.
5. Contract with a reputable Workers’ Comp Policy that will protect you and provide for your employees in the event that there is a need.
6. Make sure that your employees are informed about Affordable Health Care and do supply them with the necessary information on the “Health Insurance Marketplace,” regardless of whether you provide health insurance or not.
